Therapy

Let’s be honest, the thought of talking to a stranger can be nerve-wracking and off-putting. But if you’re thinking about and here, thank yourself for taking a step on your journey of wellness.

Therapy is where space can be made for all those things in your head that you need to get out to make sense of. Therapy can help to uncover and deal with underlying causes of issues you’re seeing in your life and even learn better coping mechanisms and strategies for better problem-solving.

I work with my clients on becoming self-aware individuals who understand their past and are confident in their future. My method of therapy is strength-based, person-centered, and trauma-focused. My primary modalities used are cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and some techniques from other modalities sprinkled in depending on client need.

For those who would like to ask questions, learn more information, or see if we are a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. Or you can simply use the schedule form to ask questions or learn more information.

If you wish to explore reimbursement for out-of-network therapy services, you may request from Talesha a monthly superbill that contains the information (including your diagnosis, date of services, amounts paid, etc.) insurance companies typically need to process your request. If you wish to submit these to your insurance plan, it will be entirely your responsibility to save and submit them in a timely manner, according to your plan’s guidelines.

Not all insurance companies or plans reimburse for “out-of-network” therapy services. If they do reimburse for these services, it may be at a significantly lower rate than the fees you agree to when you work with Mindbloom Wellness. You are still responsible for 100% of the fees charged for your services. Additionally, most insurance companies will not reimburse for the services of associate level licensed (LMSW) therapistsIf these factors are important to you, you are strongly encouraged to contact your insurance carrier to inquire about benefits and policies prior to your first appointment.

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your psychological service. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
